AIR15FI; Rose monthly challenge
|
I began by making frames thinking each one of the 4 would be the perfect DI ink color but after each result in poor stamped images I ended that creative adventure and changed to Ranger's Specialty Stamping Papers which makes clearer images with detailed stamps.
I also changed to Nick Bantock's Rose Madder ink which is a considerably more muted color than the bright DI I initially tried.
The rose image is an old beautiful 1.5" HA E1775 Petite Prints stamp that had recently been gifted to me and this was the first inking. Oh my word...all the fine details carried sufficient ink to color the entire rose and background with my waterbrush...almost too simple LOL!
To me my card looks like the rose is a close-up from the frame's garden.
The white mat was embossed with a Cuttlebug dot embossing folder.
