Roll On WaterColor Backgrounds

I made these two backgrounds using Jan's Stamp n Dash technique as described in the forum thread. I used distress inks. I applied the center color first, then the outer colors, then I sprayed the brayer with water and rolled it on.

I found that I could not get much more ink off the brayer after the first pass.

Wow-what vibrant colors...with so much pretty blending. Your work with the distress inks is terrific! Can't wait to see how you use it!

It is interesting how many different ways this technique was interpreted. I want to try the distress inks way that you did.

I just saw the card, and it blew me away so I had to come see how you made the backgrounds before I even left a comment there. Beautiful work. TFS.

I really like these. They look softer and more blended than using regular ink. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for describing your technique! Wouldn't have thought to apply ink first, then roll with water. Pretty results!
