Creative Challenge - Resist Technique with Distress Glaze

Creative Challenge; Technique-Resist distress inks with distress glaze
I selected a fun one layer of paper technique on a heavy weight paper to create a card background with distress inks. For the background I stenciled a “stone wall” with fossilized amber ink. Then reposition the stencil under the stencil and slightly moved to the right and below the stones bottom edge. I dipped my finger into the pot of distress glaze rubbing a very light amount onto the surface of each stone. Buff the glaze and If there is excess glaze pooled at stencil’s edge then leave it to dry or remove when background is complete. Rub four distress inks onto craft mat and mist with water and smoosh background into ink. Tap off excess with a rag. Randomly ink a background stamp and press onto background paper and rub ink off stones. Now the background is ready for a focal image-I used Golden’s gold acrylic paint and Pentel sparkle pens to color the flower.
