Christmas in July Amaryllis

I think I bought this stamp and die set 1, maybe 2 years ago. I thought I had pre-stamped a bunch for watercoloring, but maybe that was only a good intention as I didn't find any?

I didn't use the die on these cards.
I stamped on the textured side of Distress Watercolor Cardstock using Gina K amalgam ink. I bought a small cube of the ink at Stampfest and I'm happy with it. I colored Neocolor II watersoluble crayons direct to the paper and spread with a wet brush. I used a little bit pinker red on the right one and tried to leave a bit more white space (hard for me!).
On the left I used Enamel Accents for the pistils and on the right sparkle pop pen. I was disappointed in the enamel accents, I thought they would show up better. I felt like it was a bit watery, I applied with a ball stylus. Maybe it's bad? It does look like it needs mixing but there is no mixing ball inside so other than shaking like crazy, I don't know ...

I watched a Nichole Spohr video where she splattered with white goache, so that's what I used.

I trimmed the watercolor paper to 5 by 3 3/4 and adhered to a card base with foam tape. The sentiment is also mounted using foam tape.

TFL!

Thanks so much for the challenge Daria! Finally ... a few Christmas cards.

Cindi, these are gorgeous, so elegant. The watercoloring is wonderful. (Yes, it is still watercoloring!) They way you mounted the images, white on white, is just perfect. Thank you for playing. Daria
