Art Impressions Decorating Penguins (retired)

I love this old image. I searched for it for a long time. Then one day I checked eBay once again, and there it was. This card is for my 2 1/2 – year old nephew. Next year, the adults will be getting a similar one. If I’d had more time, I would have put Judikins Diamond Glaze on the ornaments. Overkill?

TIP:
The first time I colored this image, I let the ink dry before adding the glitter to the hats and earmuffs. The ink still bled into the glitter. I experimented. When I added the glitter first and let it dry completely before adding the color, the ink did not bleed into the dry glitter. At the very end, being forgetful, I added a bit more glitter; there was a tiny bit of bleed, but it isn’t noticeable unless you go looking for it.

CARD:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock
Die Cuts With a View The Glitter Basics Premium Stack, 6 x 6

FOCAL IMAGE:
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock
Art Impressions Decorating Penguins (retired)
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Stickles (Stardust and Suze Weinberg’s Champagne)
Tombow Markers (Greens 133 & 173, Yellows 062 & 991, Purple 623, Blue 391, Red 847)
