Christmas in July another Zoom card

April had us scrunch up paper, then spray it with ink, flatten a bit and die cut it. I'm pretty sure we scrunched first, then sprayed? April?

For the ornament, I started with white card stock, scrunched up in my hand, sprayed with Dylusions Post Box Red and then Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine.
I wanted it to have a little more crackled look so I ran it through the Crackle 3D texture fade by Tim Holtz/Sizzix, and then die cut with Spellbinders Heirloom ornament.

Dies : Art Impressions double stitched rectangles, Spellbinders Heirloom ornament, Hero Arts peace, Elizabeth Crafts pine.
Embossing Folders : Couture Creations Joyful Wishes, Sizzix Crackle 3D

I used a gold mirror cardstock for the mat (Rak from Jan) and a more shimmer gold for the sentiment. I think that might be Tonic?

The background is also spritzed with Gold Color Shine. I didn't really like this background when I was making poinsettia cards but I like it better with the big ornament.

Thanks for sharing the technique April. I never think to use my sprays.
TFL!

That scrunched up paper made a wonderful ornament! You made great use of all those dies, and I like the embossed background. Thanks for playing. Daria
