Alcohol inked picture

I had a crafty day with friends Saturday and one of them brought all of their alcohol inks and several items ready to ink. She bought frames at the thrift store, took the glass out and cleaned it, and let us play! I chose this black frame. I alcohol inked the glass, and put it back in the frame, ink side in. I stamped the big flower (SU sunflower) in archival ink on glossy white paper, and put it behind the glass. Tada! Ready for display! I'm thinking these would be fun to do for Christmas gifts.

Beautiful project Cindi! Can you tell about how you applied the alchol ink. There is one part that definately looks like you dropped it and let it form a circle...did you randomly drop all the ink on the glass? Yes, it would make a fabulous gift!

very cool background for this stamp, never thought of inking on the glass

I painted the glass with a light coat of blending fluid first, then dropped alcohol ink directly on the glass.
