Masculine birthday

I went on the hunt for masculine birthday card ideas today as I need one for my uncle. I found this one on Pinterest attributed to Peggy Dollar

I always like curved edge cards when I see them but I don't think I have ever made one. I got to use my Tim Holtz mixed media die too. The black paper is very matte and has the smoothest texture, I wish I could describe it better. I made the card base from the same cardstock. I bought a few sheets when I was in Ohio with Jan. The circles were punched from the same copper metallic as the card layer. I cupped them with an embossing stylus, but then they flattened when I glued thm on! I think if I were to make another of these cards I might just use real copper brads, I'm pretty sure I have some in my stash.

Dies : Hero Arts infinity circle, Sizzix TH mixed media, Little B sentiment
I used a crop a dile to punch the copper circles.
TFL!

Very cool card. I can see the smooth texture of the black paper in the photo. I bet the copper looks really neat in person.

I love the rounded shape to it and use of the corner die cut, really looks great with the copper circles too
