Hero Arts Large Lotus Stencil -- Reverse Image

The lighter background was made by using the inked stencil after making the piece in the last post. I misted the inked stencil with water and flipped it over onto cardstock. With a very light touch so the ink and water wouldn’t move into the open areas, I used my finger to make sure the stencil made contact with the cardstock. I blotted with a paper towel before lifting off the stencil.

4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Bazzill cardstock (card base)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. card stock (die-cut frame)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. card stock (image)
Hero Arts Large Lotus Stencil
Distress Oxide Inks (Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber, Twisted Citron, Peeled Paint)
Regular Distress Ink (Dusty Concord)
Die-namics Cover-Up Diagonal die
Unknown flower (I might have made it long ago or gotten at a demo booth as a sample—not sure)
Just Rite Large Fancy Sentiments stamp set

I posted a second card and the reverse images before I made them into cards in my scrapbook.com gallery:

I really love the softness of this BG, and the flower is a perfect choice! TFS

Great pop of colour on your flower. Pretty background. Love the die that allows you to put your sentiment on an angle.

Don't you just love when we can get two cards for the price of one, love the softness and neat background die to go with it

This is so pretty! You got a nice clean impression from your inky stencil! That is a cool die and a beautiful flower too.
