3-D acetate embellishments

I made the base of the card with a single Cut 'n Emboss folder Yes, one pass of the folder creates both die cutting and embossing, Connie sent as a RAK for playing in the last challenge event. The embossed flowers were fun to color with oxide inks. All the bright yellow areas are die cut which I added yellow paper on the backside. The acetate butterfly is made with 2 separate images stamped withStazon and painted with Lumiere acrylic paint. After the paint dried I scored along the butterfly's body and bent the wings upward then glued with glossy accents and weighted with a heavy pen. Accented with stickles. Stamped with hello greeting. I couldn't get a photo that kept the entire buttterfly without a shadow (left side here). But IRL both are the opaque pretty green pearlescent color. The dot of white at the bottom of the right wing is also a lighting issue.

That is a really nice cut and emboss folder. I like how you put the yellow behind the flower centers. Your butterfly is really pretty. I like how you double layered it.

Oh, lumiere paint! What a fantastic idea! I love the background too, very neat with the background of the yellow. Great card!

I just totally love what you did with this embossing folder, the colors are just beautiful, and I love the look that the paint gave to the butterfly and your idea of layering them makes it extra special, beautiful!
