3-D card embellishments

3-D embellishments: This series of embellishments are cut so the parts of the stamped image can be scored and creased so the image takes on a 3-D look. I stamped the images with Stazon, colored with Sharpies and accented with Stickles. I have found that they travel well in the mail when gently flattened when as they are inserted into the envelope.
Special features:
1. Seagull with fish-painted with white pearl acrylic paint.
2. Duck with umbrella -folded on umbrella ribs for 3-D. Glue dots applied only on the base of the duck creating a slight rise of the duck’s head above the card.
3 & 5 Butterflies and dragonflies wings are always fun to color.
4. Bluebird is a part of a Penny Black college stamp. I stamped a 2nd wing on plain cardstock, color with Tombow markers and adhered underneath the acetate 3-D wing to create the look of the bird’s underbody.
