Serendipity Rowboat & Dock

I have wanted to make this card for a long time. It’s a copy of a card made by Birgit Edblom. Hers is gorgeous, and I felt inadequate to replicate it. It was even harder this year because I’ve been doing more stitching and die-cutting than stamping and inking. I need to practice.

I masked the rowboat, dock, and sun. Then I applied the ink with Tim Holtz ink applicators. After I finished the inking and coloring, I restamped the image. (I actually remembered to leave the stamp in the Misti this time.)

CARD:
4 ¾ x 6 1/8
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock (card base, 4 ¾ x 6 1/8)
Judikins black cardstock (mat, 4 3/8 x 5 5/8)
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock (focal image, 4 ¼ x 5 ½)

Serendipity Rowboat and Dock (I think this is available from Impression Obsession now.)
Versafine Onyx Black
Distress Inks (Mostly Broken China, Spiced Marmalade, and Faded Jeans; some Pumice Stone, Tea Dye, and Gathered Twigs)
Prismacolor Pencils (French Gray--70 %, PC1094 and Light Umber, PC941)
Judikins Eclipse Tape (for masking)
