Stampa Rosa Dragon

I made a couple of cards with this image many years ago. I gave them to a teenager and a young adult. For my nephew who is celebrating his second birthday, I chose brighter colors. I do love this image. On the inside, there is a Judikins stamp that shows a cake that is melting down with the candles still lit. The message is about having missed a birthday. I masked the missed-birthday sentiment and inked up the cake and the words “Uh-oh.” My written message said not to let the dragon light the candles on his cake!

My efforts at masking did not turn out well so I fussy cut the image and put it on a separate piece of inked cardstock.

CARD:
6 x 6 inches
Prisma Prismatics Dark Tawny cardstock (card base)

FOCAL IMAGE:
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock (inked background)
Fabriano Extra White 140-lb. hot-pressed watercolor paper (Dragon)
Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass and Brushed Corduroy)
Stampa Rosa Dragon (fussy-cut)
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Ranger Superfine Clear embossing powder
Twinkling H2Os (Kiwi, Key Lime, Guatemalan Green, and Copper Penny)

Oh my goodness I just love this little guy and the way you colored him, I like how you changed up the sentiment to work for this birthday

This dragon is adorable and the inside of your card sounds just as cute! I bet the twinkling H2Os make him even more magical in person.
