Mixed Media Love You More Canvas

I decided to try doing some canvas's for Christmas gifts and this is my first one. When I first got done with this I didn't like it at all but it is growing on me.

I used white gesso on the canvas. Then I used several different colors of gelatos in pinks. I cut out a big heart from 12 x 12 dark pink card stock with my cricut and then glued it on the canvas with gel medium. I cut the letters out with my fuse using Tim Holtz letter die. I used the gel medium to glue down the letters. I used modeling paste mixed with Liquitex basic acrylic paints for the smaller hearts on the big heart. Then I used a black gelato to go around all the letters and the hearts to make them look more dimensional. I used a couple stamps for all the stamping on the canvas (the swirlies). I added the flower with a large brad in the center. Then I used Ferro Special Effect Paste and a Tim Holtz stencil to make the dots on the hearts and the o's. This turned out a little dark for what I was going for.
