Distress Oxide Backgrounds plain
|
Top left is the first background I tried. I did do some drying between layers. When I was done with the first one I tapped (a little too hard, as I got a blob!) in the drops of ink left on my craft mat. Interestingly, all three of these cards use the same color combination. Salty ocean, wilted violet, twisted citron and peeled paint. The first one I think I spritzed with more water. The bottom background was made on watercolor paper. The top two were on Neenah Solar White 8olb. I was surprised at how much darker the colors were on the watercolor paper.
I cut a jagged edge on one of my hotel keys, and I think I might have used it on the bottom/watercolor sample?
