Art Chronicles page. Sanded watercolor

Heidi was interested in what sanded watercolor looks like. I tried to attach a photo in the forum but I got an error message so I'm posting it here.

This was one technique from a virtual class I took yesterday called Art Chronicles. The pages are cut using Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essentials dies. This one is 140lb watercolor paper painted with a sample of Qor watercolor paints.
Once the paint was dry, I sanded partial vertical and horizontal lines with a sanding block.

The pages can be used for art journaling, lists, quotes, scrapbooking, planning etc. The pages can be bound with fiber or binder rings or Elizabeth Craft sells a binder.

TFL!

I like distressed surfaces. TFS. I like the way it provides 'grain'. Have you tried sanding in a circular pattern?

This is neat. I have not tried this and will give it a go soon! I like this background and the colors you used. Very Happy
