Bargello Try Try Again

Just though I would post this background I made for the Oldies challenge. I like the arrangement, but I had techinical difficulties with the glue down. I do not think I will use this for a project because the pieces are threatening to fall apart at any time.

Like I said in the thread, I also think it would look better using smaller strips, and maybe prettier papers, rather than country looking ones.

This is so bright and pretty. I gues it depends on what stamped image you might use that would determine if you would like it for a background. I think there would be many stamps that would look good with it. Great job!

How about painting a glue over the top. I like the colors you chose and how you lined them up.

Well done. I too like making my 'bargello strips' thinner to simulate stitching, but thicker works. TFS!

I like the combination of these papers. So bright and cheery. Bummer about the glue not holding.
