Masking My Way

I made this for 2 INF14 challenges--Lighten Up & Starting Point.

I knew I wanted to create a mask & spied 2 items that began the journey--the flowers & the chenille trim.

I made a template for the mask itself & transferred it to a piece of CS (the eyeholes were done with a cat's eye inkpad as a stamp). I swiped the CS with pale pink ink & used Heidi's technique with a large acanthus leaf BG stamp to do the base. Then I used stamps to overstamp that. I used a blade & punches to open the eyes & add extra holes.

I finished by using brads to attach the flowers & backed the mask with the fuzzy trim.

I did not see the cat's eye stamp pad at first at all. How clever. I really like this a lot, so many fun details!
