INF14 2nd Chance -- Lighten Up Challenge

I had a time with this card--it was fun, but I did make this card probably 8 times. :) The first stamping I had of the BG I really liked, but the tree did not stamp very well (I think -- after 8 experiments---it's b/c of the ridges in the WC paper I am using---it caused holes in the tree image). So I decided to try bristol paper and that worked better, but I still wanted a solid image so I heat embossed the tree and used TH digressed embossing powder (see zoomed in image of tree uploaded). Then I thought that maybe this would not count for Heidi's challenge and so I made another card with one of the bristol card but using pigment ink (see other upload).

Inked up BG stamp with distress ink; stamped off on paper; spritzer with water and stamped onto WC paper. Stamped image stamp and sentiment and adhered to card base with raffia tie on side.
