Oct KIAE from my kept kit

This is the project I made from my kept kit, and I don't think it's what I had in mind when I created the kit ... though that was so long ago, I don't know what I was thinking! This project meets the party "hearty" requirement with the masked heart shape and the hearts in the background printed paper.

From the kit:
1. stamped sentiment (SU)
2. diecut heart for masking
3. metal postage stamp brad
4. turkey eyelet

I used a die cut heart from the kit to mask the sentiment and inked around it with distress inks, Forest Moss and Peeled Paint. I overstamped with the Hampton Arts Scratch Pattern stamp in Pumice Stone distress ink. I mounted the sentiment panel with foam dots.

I removed the prongs from the postage brad and used a crop a dile to punch a hole and set the turkey eyelet. I put the orange brad through the hole in the eyelet and mounted partially with foam tape and the top half with a glue dot to be level with the raised sentiment panel.
PP and brad are Basic Gray Pyrus

Very pretty. I like the inking and masking in the heart shape. The little postage stamp brad is so cute. I am about to post my project now, it is very different, but I might have to copy your idea too.

The masking is a good idea, and it turned out wonderfully. I also like the itty bitty stamped turkey. Thank you for sharing.
