WF15 Second Chance; Impressions Challenge and Windows to the World

I have been fascinated with this swing card design since I have enjoyed making pop-up cards since my youth. Unfortunately I don’t feel the completed swing card is as much fun as continuously opening and shutting a pop-up. Nor it is a child friendly card.

Sorry I had a hard time with photos for this card and the colors are off my actual card. The swing design came together relatively easy as presented. Photo 1 is the front of the card. Unfortunately the mica snow shows as green and blues so photo 2 is a better look of the details of the snow on the trees and banks. The train image was heat embossed to showcase its details. Photo 3 shows the inside of the card with embossed trees (T Holtz EF). For added dimension I painted the trees with Viva Décor’s Icy Pearls. An acrylic skin snowflake is added onto the final panel for the embellishment requirement.

Wow! This is so beautiful. The snowy train scene you created is wonderful. I love the look you got with the Icy Pearls on Tim Holtz's embossed trees (always loved that EF). Your acrylic-skin snowflake adds a nice touch. Thank you for playing. Daria

Very pretty! I like this type of card too. I bet it was hard to take the photos, but what you did take is very nice. I like your scene and the pretty decorated inside. TFS!

This is gorgeous Jan! I love the scene you made as well as making it into a flip card--great idea! The insdie is beautiful as well. I really enjoyed the inspiration you shared as well. Thank you for taking my challenge! Laughing
