Alcohol Inks 1; Agate background

I used bottle, denim and lettuce alcohol inks+ gold mixative. I let it dry a bit and did not think it looked right (the lettuce looked far too yellow and bright), so I added more of the denim only.

You cannot really see the mixative in this photo, but the gold is pretty evenly distributed.

I am not sure if I regret not heat embossing the image.
Image is IBFS and Sentiment Gina K.

Your background is well done and I can see the lightness of the gold. A beautiful stamp as well.

I like the agate BG. It reminds me of Serpentine--a faux finish I used to do with paints. I think the stamping works without embossing. It would be fun to stamp the same image on acetate, then reverse color & layer on the BG for another style. Your version is terrific!

You're agate BG came out beautiful. And those flowers are perfect with it. And I agree with Daniel that the image didn't need to be embossed.

Beautiful!! So well done! Ilove how this turned out and though see it IRL might help with deciding about embossing, from my computer screen the image really stands out on it's own--which is so cool given the BG has many blues. TFS!

I think in real life, the gold stands out more and distracts from the stamping . I might try something similar with embossing.
