Alcohol inks 5; direct to GP

Melissa asked: "'why are we coloring with AI first then stamping the image?"

Here are my results with stamping the image first with Ranger Archival black and another with Memento ink. This shows solvent ink and oil based inks do not play well together.

The tulip stamp provides shading with fine dots on the image but once AI are added they look smudged and lots of smudging appears on the outside edges of the inking and the application tool transfers the ink to other areas.

TY for doing this Jan.....this really helps me out with seeing the inks move bc of the AI and it helps me see your coloring that I'm still trying to practice. TY!

I do like the idea of stamping first and then using the AI's, love the top left!

This is very helpful. And the top left one did come out great.

Yes, I tried inking over my image after using Staz On and had forgotten about it smudging. I then did it the right way and it came out well.

Thanks for this demo! I love the sample in the top left, especially the white accents!
