Challenge 8: Anything Goes

For challenge 8 I wanted to try challenge 6 again to see if I could wipe AI off clear EP.....well I wasn't able to so I ironed it with my sewing iron to pull the EP off for the resist (also a Challenge 6). As a base for the AI and EP I used a white plastic sheet---it is actually from an Apple product I have (Apple puts these sheets in with their products and it has their apple logo stickers attached to it).

I wanted to try the tutorial Jennifer McGuire did on the paper flowers, but I used butterflies instead. I used newsprint paper as the base of the butterflies (the card itself is actually reseting on paperprint in the photo). I colored and to get them to stand up, I wadded them up and unfolded, glued together and fluffed.

Added twine to the card---the card front is offset from the back and to accent this I added a twine down the side that is seen when card is opened.

TFL!

Wow this is so cool! At first I thought you did the packing tape alcohol resist (1st video in Series 3) but read on and see this is another try at challenge 6. Wonderful final results. I like the tad of blue ink on a few of the branches and words-- that adds some dimension and interest! TFS!
