Design Challenge Series-repetition

This card was made to demonstrate repetition of images and how that can bring a feeling of unity even when 1 image is a focal image.

It was made with alcohol inks on yupo. Yupo is made of 100% polypropylene (a type of plastic) which is now available thru Ranger as well as Fine Art supply stores. It provides a smooth and non-porous surface with some new creative opportunities as well as some challenges. The background and it's images are made with alcohol ink and some with archival inks.

Wow, at first glance you see your great background on the Yupo paper. Very pretty. I love the repeated flowers, and how you used one color to stamp the solid ones, and then the same color to make your one flower stand out. Great work!

Never heard of Yupo so thank you for the explanation. I LOVE how this turned out. The repetitive images are lovely and so are the colours.
