March 2017 swiped distress challange

I only have large distress pads. I tried with other inks and could not get the look.
Took a large piece of cardboard, cut a rectangle the size of small ink pads and the length of my cardstock. Ran my ink land through the hole and moved it over and did again, and then with two other colors. I used pink, red,and blue. Stamped my large star with red and over the top with blue to get the same look.

What a great result. I like the idea of your adaptation for large inkpads. Most of mine are big too.

How absolutely stunning. Your technique turned out despite having large pads.

What an ingenous fix for only having the large pads. I may have to try that since I mostly have large pads. The background came out fabulous. You did a great job. Very patriotic.

What a great idea for getting a small pad looking ink drag with a large inkpad! I like your patriotic card! Those are such cute stars with the button centers.
