INK 2nd Chance Show 'em some love

I made this Halloween card for the 2nd chance challenge and Show 'em Some Love.
I will have to save it for next year as I just finished it today!

For Show 'em Some Love I used a new stamp by Stampendous, Nevermore and a new ink pad, Distress Seedless Preserves.

I stamped Nevermore with archival black ink on white cardstock. I smooshed seedless preserves, shabby shutters and peeled paint distress inks on to a craft mat and misted with water. I brushed the ink across the image with a damp paint brush. I colored over black lines in the raven with an Elegant Writer and bled out some blue gray color with a damp brush. (Elegant Writers are calligraphy markers by speedball. The black pen bleeds out colors when you wet it.) I laid a metal ruler over the image and tore the edges.

You did a fabulous job coloring the background of the image. Those torn edges are such a great touch. And way to go getting a jump on next Halloween.
