Candy stripe Christmas?

I made the little red and white striped strip of paper using my Prima Watersoluble Oil Pastels. I just lay down a bunch of pigment and blended it with water. I put some Faber Castell Gloss over top of it, which further blended it out (I had no idea how to use that gloss, I was just experimenting).

I also stamped the stocking (very old stamp) and colored it in with the same Prima crayons, but I just scribbled a tiny bit on my craft mat and used it like watercolor with a tiny brush. It is easy to work with and layer the colors (I used plain Neenah card.).

I also stamped the stockings using Brilliance Platinum in to create patterned paper on the card base.

The sentiment stamper is Elle Studio stamped in Versafine.

Cute. It is nice that you created your own DP with the same stocking. Good thinking.

Cute card! I love that you made good use of a small image. The repetitive stamping in the background really makes this work. Terrific card. Congratulations for posting the first Christmas All Year Challenge Card. Daria

This is a wonderful design with the same stocking in the background as the main stocking. TFS
