AIR16 Vintage WC - Dress Maker

I started by inking a piece of watercolor paper with DI in Spun Sugar. I stamped the dress maker's dummy with DI in shabby shutters. I used my waterbrush to soften the edges and added some color with the koi watercolors. I used a corner punch on the piece and messed up one of the corners. So I ended up cutting it out and mounting it on the grey card stock. It took me 3 tries to get the corners punched properly.

For the base, I inked the paper with DI in shabby shutters and stamped the image with DI in Hickory Smoke. I added some color with koi watercolors. The stamp is by Crafty Individuals. I mounted the whole thing on grey cardstock.

Beautiful job coloring the dress form! It's softened just enough! Clever to try the technique in another color.

Thanks for proving that vintage doesn't always have to be brown! TFS. Daria

This looks very vintage. The stamps seem very suited for this technique. TFS
