Winter Holiday Cards in July--Christmas--Darice Bells & Bow Stencil with Pillow-Top Background

I had planned to reproduce the paste-embossed card I posted during AIR16, but I decided not to use the embossing paste on these. I actually like them better without it. These are the six I planned to make. In the next post, I'll show the one that I made to use the whose edge I messed up while stenciling.

CARD:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Card base and mat—Carnival 80-lb. cover vellum, Red

CARD With Die-Cuts:
Green card base—Bazzill Hillary
Red mat on green card—Bazzill Cardinal
Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Eight

BACKGROUND:
Pillow-Top Technique
Canson 90-lb. watercolor paper
Memories Ink For Hero Arts Shadow Stamps. Soft Sage (I added a touch of Soft Celery on the card with the die-cut focal piece and mat)

FOCAL IMAGE:
Canson 90-lb. Cold-Press Watercolor Paper
Just Rite sentiment--Christmas Antique Labels One
Versafine Ink--Olympia Green
Darice brass stencil--Xmas Bells/Bow, 1020-63
Kaleidacolor Ink Pads
Ribbon--the darkest colors in the Tomato Vine and Desert Pink pads
Leaves—the greens from Riviera and Vineyard (I rouged on the lighter color and stippled on the darker green.)
Bells—bronze from Vineyard and lavender from Baby Powder (I brushed almost all the ink off on a piece of paper before applying it to the bells.)
Wink of Stella—Clear on the entire image on the die-cut image piece; none on one card; silver on the rest

You can see close-ups of the other cards in my gallery on Scrapbook.com: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/13464/view/5686373/-1/0/0.html
