Cottage Cutz Winter Wonderland

I don’t have enough Christmas cards, and it’s already December 12. Desperate, I went through my stash of die-cuts and backgrounds, and I now have three more cards made.

CARD: 4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock (80 lb. for die cut, 110 lb. for card base)
Cottage Cutz Winter Wonderland Scene die
Glue Pen
Copper Glimmer cardstock (mat, 1st card)
DCWV Glitzy Glitter Card Stock Stack (mats, 2nd and 3rd cards)

BACKGROUNDS:
Card 1: Salt Technique (Made eleven years ago!)
I brayered a spectrum dye ink pad on glossy white cardstock, sprinkled it with kosher salt, and misted it with water from a bottle with a very fine spray. Then I walked away so I wouldn't ruin it by being impatient. When it was completely dry, I brushed off the salt.

Cards 2 & 3: I made these backgrounds seven years ago. The technique is from Nancy Curry's book, Texture Effects for Rubber Stamping.
1. Apply powdered pigments to black glossy cardstock.
2. Apply alcohol inks over the powdered pigments to blend and dissolve them.
Nancy used Interference Gold and Interference Green Pearl Ex. I didn't have Interference Green so I used Duo Green Yellow on one background and Spring Green on another.

Your background is beautiful! Great way to use up OLD backgrounds, too. Your die is lovely.
