This is my background piece for the stamp and stencil challenge.

I used a color sweeper to add a little Archival Dandelion color to a piece of watercolor paper. Hampton Art/Outlines flower background was stamped in Archival Potting Soil ink. I stenciled over it, using a foam applicator and more Archival Dandelion Ink.

Haha! I just went to check the stencil manufacturer and realized it is "chicken wire" by Crafters Workshop. Oh well, it reminded me of a honeycomb. You'll see what I was thinking in the final card.

Leigh Ann, this isn't quite a whole card front. If it doesn't meet the challenge, please let me know and I will try again with a different stamp.

I like the stencil and the stamp! The funny thing is, i have a crafters workshop chicken wire stencil, but it is opposite of yours! Mine would fill in the hexagon negative space.

Yes Heidi! I have that one too. I had to buy it when I saw it matches this one.

I have done the same thing, honeycomb and chicken wire look an awful lot alike, very pretty

Works for me! I love it! I have this background stamp and love how you used it with the stencil. Wonderful job thanks for taking my challenge Smile
