Stampendous Polar Bear Stamp & Die Set

I made this card for my new nephew's First Christmas. I used a background I made a long time ago, and I thought it worked well for the card I had in mind. The background was an experiment to see how alcohol ink would work on regular cardstock instead of glossy. It really soaked into the cardstock, and I ended up using a lot of ink so after making a few pieces, I stopped. Jennifer McGuire recently posted a good video tutorial using them this way that made me think I should reconsider.

I knew I wanted to make this card when I saw April's card:

CARD:
4 ¼” x 5 ½”
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110-lb. cardstock (card base)
Petaloo Glitter Sheets, Traditional Set

BACKGROUND:
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock
Alcohol Ink
Sizzix Dots, Circles, & Stars embossing folder (from Birthday Set #3)
Sandpaper

FOCAL PIECES:
Stampendous Polar Bears stamp & die set
Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80-lb. cardstock
Tombow Markers and Dove Blender [scarf (606,623) and bear (N95, 850)]
Taylored Expressions North Star die set
3M Mounting Tape (to attach polar bear)

Yay! I'm finally done with this year's Christmas cards.

Ouch, I hope you didn't use up too much ink. Despite that, your sky is absolutely stunning!! Love the snowflake embossing. Very creative.
