SF18-Aqua wash Flamingo
|
The flamingo may or may not be skipping, but he certainly seems happy. I just thought these bright pinks called for a flamingo! At first this aqua wash background was one of my least favorite, but now I like it! You may notice the light dots to the right of the wing. I dripped water accidentally when cleaning the stamp, after my focal piece was finished. Ugh! I used another piece as a mat, that started as an aqua wash technique, but I really didn't like that one so I sprayed it with more water to get the inks to blend. Works good as a mat, I think, because I used the same Tombow markers, so it matches.
Stamps : Hampton Arts flamingo and flipflops, Ranger Dylusions sentiment
Ink : Versafine Onyx Black
Die : modified Avery Elle Wonky Stitches to better fit my aqua wash background.
Background Technique : Aqua Wash - Tombow Markers on ziplock bag applied to wet watercolor paper.
Thanks for the challenge, Connie!
This is an A2 side fold card.
