Background from my stash. It looks ike I painted it, sprinkled with water, let set and then picked up color with paper towel?

Ugh, the deer isn't as black as it appears in the photo! Trying to get the whites white in the photo ... it's actually Versa Fine Clair pinecone.

I had a hard time deciding what to use as a focal point. I think this deer is a little small, and I wish I adhered it a little higher on the card, but I also wanted to give it a decent base to stick to. Oh well.
