INK22 - Bingo Twist Welcome Baby boy

For April's Bingo Twist

The two household items I used are a brown paper bag and a book page.

I cut a piece from a brown paper bag I got when I shopped at my LSS. I tried to stamp it in white with a lacy background stamp but my inkpad was dry so I tried white acrylic paint and that was only so so. I brayered a little bit of whte over that to add more white. I added blue paint to a gel plate to use as a palette and picked it up with the book paper. I felt I had a little too much blue and wiped off what I could with a baby wipe, added a tiny bit of white paint to my gel plate and printed that over the blue. The brown paper bag layer was diecut with Wonky Stitches and added to a white layer and then to the white card front.

The image was stamped on watercolor paper and watercolored with Tombow markers. I die cut it with Spellbinders Essential Squares and stitched with embroidery floss, added a bow and mounted to the card front with foam tape.

Stamp : Stampendous/Ellen Jarecki Welcome Baby

Thanks for the challenge April!
Now I'm ready for my grand baby!

TFL!
