Gesso card

Painted white gesso on to my stamp, and stamped on to watercolor paper. Once dry, I blended tumbled glass, mustard seed and broken china distress inks over the piece. Once those were dry, I took a baby wipe and wiped over the image.
Bird image is a canvas sticker I colored with distress inks and markers.

I love this one! I'm curious. Is there a reason you don't ink the background first and stamp over it? Love the way you colored the image, and it's just perfect with the sentiment. TFS. Daria

oh wow I have only heard of doing that technique with embossing powder, love the colors on the bird and patterned wings!
