Happy mail swap-for April

I created the background with distress inks- smooshed and misted on a craft mat to color for the base and then added another color of ink thru 2 different stencils.
I inked and misted the stamp for the focal image and then used the a waterbrush to paint additional color.
I also added a bird on a branch on the inside since April likes birds and made a colorful envelope with some stamping.

Yes, left of the stems I used the "topside" of the stencil but the stencil fit the space to the right of the stems better when I turned it over. The 2nd stencil is circling the blooms with some stitching lines and ink spots. Overall I wanted to keep the background light in color so I removed some of the ink with a damp sponge through the stencil well as adding some details with ink. I used WC paper so it held up well to my extended playtime.
