INK17-Tarnished Leaf
Basically I followed the technique from Splitcoaststampers: Impressions of Tarnished Foil by Melissa Kerman
https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/impressionsoftarnishedfoil/?utm_medium=Email&utm_source=ExactTarget&utm_campaign=
I used silver cardstock, swiped timber brown Stazon DTP and embossed with round circular embossing folder design. Heat embossed with copper, gold, aged spice and verdigris powders one at a time. Stamped focal image with Stazon and painted with distress ink fussy cut. I scored the backside of the leaf on the 5 main veins and fold into to mountain shapes to create a 3-D leaf. I used a couple dimensional foam pop-up squares, cut in half and placed in a few places along the main vein. Added tape to outer edges of leaf. Used a glue pen to draw in the veins and embossed in gold. Added a few dots of glue and covered with fine pieces of copper mica (by Stampendous). Also added a score line on left edge of the background again using the glue pen and embossed with gold embossing powder to help guide one’s eyes to the leaf.
