flag challenge final

Ok I like this version of my flag challenge entry better. :)

The flag's stripes from a fiskar border stamp. I stamped the stamp to the left and then to the right, back and forth to have the flag appear to be waving.

The stars I made from using a fiskar stars border punch then temporary adhering them to the flag and inking over it with distressed ink applicator; removed the star cutouts.

I fussy cut out the flag and then the black matting behind it to match.

I stamped the star/circle stamp Daniel RAK'd me to pose as "fireworks" behind the flag. I used gold and silver Brillance inks.

TFL!

This is great. I really like the yellow and grey for the background in this one. Thanks for describing how you did it, a lot of steps and it definitely looks pulled together. Great job with the challenge.

I like how this turned out. It does look like it's waving. I really like your background too. Thank you for sharing.

The matting makes a real difference. And the BG stamping is well thought out. Must confess I prefer the red & blue you used in the first piece. So glad you did & shared both!

very clever way of doing the waving stripes, it looks great matted in black!
