Tim Holtz/Sizzix Nordic Winter

It took forever to make eight of these cards. I kept die-cutting more and more pieces to create the die-cuts I wanted to inlay.
Nora had a very hard time die-cutting glitter paper so I made my own with Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock, Sookwang adhesive, and Art Institute Glitter. That die-cut just fine, but it was really hard to get the left-over pieces out of the die because they were tacky. When I tried the DCWV glitter paper, that worked great. I still had to be careful when removing the pieces, but it was doable.

I have to admit that three of those antlers ripped. I just inked the torn edges so they wouldn’t show white, and used them. I really can’t tell which ones were mended even if I look for them.

CARDS:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
Crafter’s Companion Kraft 100-lb. Cardstock (card base)
Various Mats (brown suede paper, DCWV black and gold glitter paper, pale green shimmer paper, Bazzil green and tan cardstock)

CARD FRONTS:
Aproximately 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches
Tim Holtz-Sizzix Nordic Winter Die
Various Cardstocks (mostly Neenah and Bazzill)
Inlaid die-cuts (brown and green suede paper, DCWV black and gold glitter papers, Bazzill cardstock, unknown wood grain cardstock, paper glittered with Art Impressions Java Bean and Bronze glitter)

The other seven cards are posted in my scrapbook.com gallery:

Love this die! I even went looking to see if I could cut something similar ... Glad you found a way to die cut and still have glitter!
