Christmas in July

Here is my first Christmas card for the July Christmas card challenge. I used the splittin' image technique that I put up this week for a challenge. The stamp is an Anita stamp. I colored with alcohol markers and used a metallic red mat behind the image. I used a pine needles die in the left corner. Not sure what comapnay it is. I had it in my stash and I have too many dies to hunt through to get the comapny name! LOL!

This is wonderful! I just love how you embossed the background of the split image!

Gorgeous, I never thought about stamping off to the side like that!

This looks great as a split image! The ribbon and metallic red make it really special.

April. I keep looking at your card to see all the details. The Split Image Technique you used is just perfect with this image. I love the touch of shiny red in the mat and the little red gemstones (sequins?) in the background and on the ornaments. The die-cut pine bough adds so much dimension; even though it is mostly flat, it casts shadows. Together with the ribbon it's a great embellishment. The snowfall embossed background adds a great finishing touch. Who makes that tiny sentiment? TFS. Dar

Daria, the saying is from Sparle N Sprinkle who have now gone out of business.
