Crayon Rub Cards

Here are 2 cards I made with the crayon rub technique. I like this one a lot. First you run your cs through an embossing folder. Leave the cs in the folder and color over the raised areas using the side of the crayon(s) - (take the paper off the crayon). Take the colored cs out of the folder and sponge on other colors of ink to fill in the white areas that are left. I found that using a makeup brush was the best way to apply the ink. I stamped the butterfly by BoBunny onto shimmery backgrounds that I had made and fussy cut them to add to the cards.

Pretty Results April! But oh my I used up an entire pad of white paper and crayons the summer before 3rd grade LOL. I regularly ambled thru the old graveyard across from our home and found some bark, weedsand stones to add to my work. Amazing how the use of EF added to this technique. But that was Many years ago! LOL! for days!

I have done this crayon idea before, bit the addition of adding ink makes them look a hole lot better!
