Oldies Challenge - Bargello

For my Bargello design, I used Washi Tape. That was a fun process. Bargello brings back memories of long ago days when I was into needlepoint/bargello as well as quilting bargello designs. I began cutting 3 strips the same size, then began in the middle of the card with one of the strips, then building the design. Thought the design was rather busy, so decided to use the Stampin' Up Bird Punch. Stamped quote (Make an Impression) with green ink, and embellished with green gems. TFL

Washi Tape and your new Bird! I should have guessed. lol. What a good idea to use Washi Tape for the Bargello Technique! This is so colorful and festive--a fun card. Your bird on a branch looks good. TFS. Daria

Great job! So bright and cheery. I will have to do this with washi tape too. It would be easier I think. Thanks for doing my challenge.

I never would have thought about using washi, but that is a great use for it! What a wonderful creation. I love the pattern you acheived and the spring colors. This would brighten anyones day!

The patterns on your washi tape are fabulous. I love how bright the colors are. So pretty.
