Creative Challenge : Reverse Painted Embossing Folder

For this week's Creative Challenge. Please see the Stamping Challenge Forum post.

Embossing Folder : SU
Distress Paints : Peeled Paint and Speckled Egg
Dies : Poppy stamps Retro ornament and Wireworks overlay (RAK from djc a few years ago, yay! Thank you!), and bow cut from String Ornament
Stamps : "Peace" from Stampendous Encouraging Words and "on Earth" from Hero Arts Peace Stamp & Cut
Papers : DCWV Holographic stack and DCWV glitzy pastels for the ornament. Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft Stock for mat layer and bow. I think I may have used relatively cheap white paper for the background, Neenah Bright White 65 lb. I used Neenah Solar white 80lb for the card base.
Ink : Versamark for sentiment, heat embossed with Hampton Arts silver EP

TFL!
I hope you'll try this challenge.

Cindi, you found a way to use that ornament die! I love the way this turned out. Maybe, now I can use mine too. I die-cut it a bunch, but I never made a card with it. I like the way you have it hanging from the pine branches. TFS. Daria

I do love the shimmer on the ornament, it would look real pretty with a soft pink center and gold outside since your background is so soft Smile Will give it a vintage feel
