Christmas in July Amaryllis cards 3, 4 and 5

I played around with different ways to color the Amaryllis. The one on top I colored from the outside of the petals getting lighter toward the inside. I used the Neocolor direct to paper and blended out with a wet brush. I scraped neocolor ruby red and orange in to a palette dish using a craft knife, mixed with water and painted the bottom left flower. The bottom right is ruby red from the palette. I tried to paint with more dabs and leaving more white space rather than painting with brush strokes. All are spattered with watered down white gouache. (and boy did I spatter everywhere! even though I used a splat box). Since I didn't think my enamel accents worked very well on the first cards, I used a ball stylus and Wild Honey Distress paint on the pistils. Then I went over them with a Clear Star gelly roll pen. I used a ball stylus and just a bit of Stickles on the very centers of the flowers.
