This technique is called Paper Peek Through which can be found on the Bodacious Backgrounds Stamps CD from the Technique Junkie Newsletter.

I had insomnia on the weekend and woke up at 3:00 a.m., and worked on backgrounds from then until bedtime, so now I have lots of backgrounds to turn into cards.

When I chose my stamps I went looking for this particular paper in my stash, and as luck would have it, it was my last piece of paper, which is so appropriate for my card.
