WF15-Old/New Flower Card

Well this stamp is probably 20-25 years old at least. It came mounted on wood and now it lives nakid. I colored the image using distress inks, smooshing them into the craft mat and using a waterbrush. This is something that was not heard of when this stamp first came to live here. The background was done with strips of washi tape which is also something that was not brought to market yet when this stamp was young. I really do still like this stamp though and am glad I gave it some attention this weekend.

That definitely is a modern take on that very traditional looking stamp! I like it a lot! Pretty coloring.

Such a nice job watercoloring those tiny flowers! Super take on this challenge, you're right the technique and the tape are a lot newer than the stamp but they play nice together!
