Hangover Bokeh

Here is my bokeh background. I wanted to use alcohol inks. I started with the polished stone technique on glossy card stock. I then put my circle stencil over the piece, dabbed a finger dauber sponge in 91% alcohol and carefully filled in the circles with the alcohol from the sponge, so as not have the alcohol leach under the stencil. You have to use a light touch! here is the result!

Wonderful, Willy! I love the way the 'lift' whitens the circles so beautifully, but let's the BG 'show! A great way to play!

What a beautiful background April! And a great job of containing the alcohol-that is not so easy! Love your color combination. Is the green color the new pistascho?

FYI-another name for this technique is Faded Layers as Tim Holtz has published in A Compendium of Curiosities Volume III. Of course this technique can be done with any stencils.
