INK15 smoosh stamp; INK15-YPT; SESLINK15;Design Challenges

For this card I worked with distress stains because I like the saturation of color. The marbleized background is made with salty ocean, peacock feathers, brushed pewter and picket fence. I smooshed the stamp into antique bronze, tea dye and brushed corduroy. It is best seen on the leaves and the shorter piece of sea grass. I added a shadow stamping with rusty hinge stain. To save the larger bloom from several distracting overruns I used a Sakura glue pen to draw in the lines and heat embossed with tinsel gold EP. Finally I painted in some ground (Heidi’s-design challenge).
For Cindi’s You Pick Two Challenge-I used a new rubber stamp and sparkly embossing powder.
For Sarah’s Show’em some love challenge: a new green rubber stamp and a new bottle of brush pewter stain.

Beautiful way to use a nice long stamp! Love the colors and how the whiter areas fell where the flowery parts are. Pretty ground you painted in too! Thanks for playing!

Wow! One card...so many challenges. I really like your background, that main image is perfect, and the grounding is fabulous. And you kind of did the warm up challenge with the glue pen and embossing powder too. TFS

Very nice grouding. I also like how you added the EP to the top of the plant.

Wonderful, Jan! I love the softness this technique gives you image and the pretty background you made too. I love that you used distress stains. I only have about 6 of them and struggle using them so it's always good to see how others out them to use. Thanks for sharing and for taking my challenge Very Happy
